May 7th 2006 was the 16th annual A.B.A.T.E. of Illinois Freedom Ride to the Capitol in Springfield. The weather was cool and clear, perfect for the day long event. We rode 2-up leaving the greater Chicago area about 9am, rolling into Springfield about 11:45 after a couple of stops and some breakfast. I don't have numbers but as you can see from the picture above the turn out was excellent.
